  • Even if you want to take home jars full of Aunt Fanny's homemade cranberry sauce for leftovers after Thanksgiving, TSA says to leave the cranberry sauce behind, as the "3-1-1" rules (3 ounces of liquid in a one-quart bag for one person) still apply during the holidays. But while items like cranberry sauce and gravy aren't allowed, pumpkin pie and turkey leftovers will have no issues going through security (though pies are subject to additional screening).   • "Try before you buy" Wi-Fi is being offered on United Airline's transcontinental flights with the hope of enticing passengers to purchase inflight internet on future flights. To get the free Wi-Fi, all you have to do is create a GoGo Inflight account, and then you can use the internet for free on one flight. [Gadling]

Of course the liquid limits only apply to carry-on baggage. Fly an airline that doesn't charge for check-in baggage and there's no problem. All you have to worry about then is leakage.
