- May 2 is Celebrate Wildlife Day
at Grand Canyon National Park. Special activities at the park include
bird walks, talks on bats and mountain lions, track identification,
live animal demonstrations, and more.
- It's the perfect beach accessory. Sharp plans to release the world's first waterproof solar-powered cell phone this June.
- While I never thought I'd post about poo (and certainly not twice in one week), Yamaha just unveiled a methane-powered golf cart.
- The Chicago Beans: This summer, the city plans to feature two new structures, designed by Zaha Hadid and Ben van Berkel, similar to the Millennium Park's famous Bean.
- Eat, breathe, and be merry: This weekend at London's Alcoholic Architecture, patrons can get drunk simply by standing at the bar. The bar will serve gin and tonics as a fine mist in the air. Just 40 minutes of breathing the stuff is equivalent to consuming one strong drink.
- In case you didn't get enough Earth Day celebrations (or just want to kill some time looking at pretty pictures on a Friday), check out these Earth Day Aerials.
