  • Oh, holy light... the Vatican just announced plans to build Europe's largest solar power plant.

  • A Florida utility and real estate company are teaming up to build the country's first solar-powered city. The project would cost $2 billion and would aim to build six million square feet of office and retail space, in addition to 19,500 houses.

  • Marc Ona Essangui--jailed for his campaign to stop the Belinga mine project in an effort to save the rain forests in Gabon--was recently awarded the "the Nobel Prize for grassroots environmentalism."

  • In February we brought you news about D.C.'s Bike Share program. Arlington--one of the District's neighboring counties--just introduced a similar "trike share" initiative, which offers Arlington employees tricycles as an eco-alternative to commuting short distances in their cars.

  • BoltBus is celebrating Earth Day by offering 50% off tickets between NYC, D.C., Boston, and Philadelphia. Tickets must be booked today.

I also want to switch my home in Solar Energy. No one here is providing this service, I hope it would soon come
