Last week, we introduced you to Rob Myers, the sitar player from the band Thievery Corporation, who is photoblogging for us while on their current European and American tour. (Because really, who knows travel better than bona fide rock stars on the road?) Thievery Corporation recently released their fifth album, Radio Retaliation, in September. Thanks to Rob for sending us the pics from their trip.

The crowd gets bigger in Athens where the sound system cuts off for five minutes in front of 6,000 people, an event that would make the papers the next day. Bellydancer, Yasmin, took the ball and ran with it doing an extended dance to Frank Orrall and John "El John" Nelson's acoustic drums.
Sun, 12 Oct, Late (ie: Monday morning) - ATHENS, GREECE.
At the after-party Yasmin is recognized as the show's MVP as bassist Ashish "Hash" Vyas climbs on a tottering table and showers rose pedals on her head.
Wed, 14 Oct, Afternoon - BUCHAREST, ROMANIA.
Bucharest is undergoing major infrastructure upgrades to its roads, pedestrian tunnels, and bridges. The traffic is ubiquitous. Last night our bus driver had to make a sketchy U-Turn under an overpass on the way to the hotel from the airport, it was after 10 p.m. and the roads were packed. Here an anonymous bust waits to be reinstated or retired.
