Melbourne residents explore their deep ancestry at Journey of Your Genes lecture.

In the continued celebration of Darwin, join Genographic Project director Dr. Spencer Wells and Advisory Board Chairman Dr. Simon Longstaff for a free public lecture at The Spot Theatre, Melbourne University on Sunday December 6 at 10AM.

Dr. Wells will present a snapshot of Melbourne's deep ancestry when he reveals the results of one hundred public participants who swabbed their cheeks in early October. Included in this results' reveal are Melbourne identities, Victorian Governor His Excellency Prof. David de Kretser, World Vision CEO Rev. Tim Costello and Olympic hockey gold medalist Claire Mitchell-Taverner.
