The Sundance Institute's Native Initiative has a fellowship created with support from the Ford Foundation to provide direct support to emerging Native American Artists. The Initiative is now receiving proposals for Short film, Stage Play, Documentary, and Experimental/Installation works from emerging Native American Artists for consideration of a Fellowship. The Fellowship supports emerging Artists who have projects that are in the early stages of development or works in progress, which can be nurtured and assisted with development or completion. The Fellowship involves work-shopping material and refining projects for referral to funders and others who have opportunities for support.
